En la que será su tercera pelea del año, el invicto prospecto de Riverside, California Joseph «El Tigre» Landeros intentará mantener vivo su récord invicto de 14-0, con 14 nocauts, en una cartelera la serie «Noches de Boxeo» programada para 7 Diciembre en la Arena Big Punch, de Tijuana, Baja California, México.
El oponente será determinado para una pelea programada a 8 asaltos en la división supegallo.
Para el peleador californiano, 2018 ha sido un año de transición y preparación para su incursión en el boxeo en los Estados Unidos.
A los 17 años de edad, este año ha dedicado una cantidad de tiempo significativa para cerrar sus estudios y su condición de Estudiante de Honores en King High High School en Riverside, donde se graduará el próximo verano.
Otra razón para la actividad reducida en el ring, fue su participación en dos películas independientes, relacionadas con el boxeo y los cambios en el equipo de entrenadores.
Ahora, cerca de cumplir 18 años y ser capaz de pelear legalmente en todos los estados de la Unión Americana, Landeros hará una última pelea, antes de programar su presentación en los Estados Unidos.
Para el llamado «Tigre», su récord invicto en 14 peleas en el boxeo profesional comenzó a los 15 años de edad, luego de ganar dos medallas de oro en el Juegos Binacionales, una competencia entre boxeadores amateur de México y Estados Unidos, además de 12 medallas de oro y 4 de plata en competiciones en los Estados Unidos.
«Pelear profesionalmente en México me ha dado la oportunidad de crecer a un buen ritmo y desarrollar mi nivel de boxeo poco a poco, he peleado en 4 ciudades de México y peleas se han cancelado en tres ciudades más. He peleado ante un público diferente en cada ciudad y he ganado mucha experiencia mientras espero para pelear en los Estados Unidos», dijo Landeros, quien hizo 3 peleas en 2016; 9 en 2017 y 2 en 2018.

Hemos entrenado con grandes peleadores, incluyendo sesiones de sparring y entrenamiento con ex campeones mundiales y 2018 fue el año en el que construimos nuestro gimnasio para facilitar nuestros preparativos. «Después de pelear en Chihuaha a fines de 2017, en un clima frío, regresamos a Rosarito y Tijuana. In what will be his third fight of the year, Riverside, California unbeaten prospect Joseph «El Tigre» Landeros will try to keep his undefeated record of 14-0 (14 KO) alive, on a «Nights of Boxing» series card, scheduled for December 7th at the Big Punch Arena in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico.
The opponent is to be determined for a fight scheduled to 8 rounds in the Super bantamweight division.
For the Riverside fighter, 2018 has been a year of transition and preparation for his incursion into boxing in the United States.
