Joseph Landeros extends his KO streak to
14 with a 4th round victory over Macias
Possibly one more fight in Mexico, before transferring career to USA.
Last Friday August 17th, undefeated bantamweight prospect Joseph “El Tigre” Landeros kept his unblemished record and knockout streak alive as he stopped Luis Manuel «Grillo» Macias, in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico as part of “Noches de Boxeo” card, presented by two-time ex world Champion, Raul «Jibaro» Perez of Jibaro Boxing Promotions.
After the win at the Big Puch Arena, he is now 14-0, with all victories by KO.
Landeros, 17, from Riverside, California, was able to take control of the fight since the onset, and by using his height advantage and better boxing skills, kept Macias at bay for two rounds. In the third, a straight right to the stomach, dropped the left-handed fighter for the 8 second count near the end of the round.
